I’m really excited to read Dave Bry’s book. I like Dave Bry a lot, as a human being and as a writer. I have heard this book is very funny, and also that there is a part that will make me cry. I am looking forward to that moment. I’m reading a lot of memoir lately. Right now, all I want is the truth. I want reality. Please don’t lie to me. I am begging you. I am also reading memoir because I am having a hard time reading fiction. I am doing too much noticing when I read fiction, and it is inhibiting my enjoyment. I find myself thinking about the writer too much. I am always imagining the writer imagining. I can hear my tiny footsteps in their head.
